Terms of Service

Creator Animation is a streaming and distribution platform where independent and AI-powered filmmakers publish films and series directly to viewers, without gatekeepers or advertising. We provide hosting, encoding, streaming, storefront and payout tooling. We are a venue: creators own and control their content and their relationship with their audience.

You must provide an accurate date of birth at sign-up. Viewer accounts are available from age 13 (or the digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, if higher). Creator accounts and paid purchases require you to be at least 18. You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.

Some content is age-gated. Misrepresenting your age to access restricted content is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for termination.

You retain full ownership of everything you upload. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, encode, transcode, generate thumbnails and previews from, stream, and display your content on the Platform for as long as it remains published. This license exists solely to operate the service and ends when you delete the content, subject to completed viewer purchases (see Section 6).

You represent that you own or control all rights to your uploads — including any AI-generated material, music, and likenesses — and that your content does not infringe any third party's rights.

Explicit pornographic content is prohibited. Mature storytelling up to a Rated-R standard is permitted for verified adults and is age-gated. All uploads pass through automated moderation before going live; titles are not listed publicly until encoding is 100% complete and moderation has approved them.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards. Creators may appeal moderation decisions through the appeals workflow; appeals are reviewed by a human moderator.

Creators keep 80% of earned revenue from sales of their content; the Platform retains 20% as its service fee. Earnings become payable after a 14-day settlement hold and may be withdrawn once your available balance reaches $20 USD, via Stripe Connect to your verified bank account.

You are responsible for your own taxes on earnings. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from the associated creator balance as described in our Refund Policy.

Purchased titles are licensed (not sold) to you for personal, non-commercial streaming, available in your library 24/7 for as long as we hold distribution rights. If a creator deletes a title, purchased access is honored while we retain the master; where that is not possible, our Refund Policy applies.

Offline downloads require an active Download Pass subscription. Download access ends automatically when the pass is cancelled or expires. You may not redistribute, rip, re-upload, or circumvent the protections on any content.

Every creator receives 10 GB of storage free. Additional storage is billed at $0.40 USD per GB per month through fixed monthly tiers (Indie, Studio, Feature, Filmmaker). Storage used above a plan's included allowance is billed at the same per-GB rate and invoiced through Stripe.

Paid plans require a valid payment method. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout according to our Stripe tax settings and your billing address. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel any plan at any time from the billing portal in Creator Studio. See our Refund Policy.

You agree not to: upload unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit material; manipulate views, likes, or recommendations; scrape or bulk-download the catalog; probe or disrupt our infrastructure or that of our streaming and payment providers; impersonate others; or use the Platform to launder payments. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts engaged in abuse, with or without notice where the risk is immediate.

The Creator Animation name, logo, and the Platform's software and design are the property of Awakening Games Entertainment Inc. Except for your own content, nothing on the Platform may be copied or reused without our written permission.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for content published by creators.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms. On termination, unpaid eligible earnings above the payout threshold are still paid out; provisions that by their nature should survive (ownership, licenses for completed purchases, liability limits) survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes are announced on the Platform before they take effect, and continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@creatoranimation.com.
